Coffee and Spice Rubbed
Angus Rib Eye
Ingredients

2 tsp chopped fresh garlic

1/3 cup CedarCreek Syrah
-
1 1/2 tbsp fresh mint
-
1 tbsp freshly ground coffee
-
1/4 cup olive oil
-
1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
-
1/4 tsp ground cumin
-
1/4 tsp ground coriander
-
1/4 tsp dry mustard
-
14/ tsp kosher salt
-
2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary or 1 tsp dried
rosemary

4 Angus rib eye steaks
Method

Mix all marinade ingredients well.

Place steaks, in a single layer, in a large glass dish. Pour
marinade over and rub in thoroughly.

Refrigerate, covered, for 3 to 4 hours.

Remove steaks from marinade. Wipe most, but not all, marinade
off steaks.

Grill and season to taste.
This dish is
excellent paired with CedarCreek Estate Syrah.
