Barbecued Beef Short
Ribs
Ingredients

3 tbsp olive oil

2 lbs Angus beef short ribs

2 diced onions
-
Sea salt and cracked black pepper to taste

1/2 cup honey
-
2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1/4 cup sweet and sour sauce
-
1/2 cup water
-
1/2 cup chili sauce
-
2 minced garlic cloves
Method

In a skillet, cook onions in olive oil for about 5 minutes to
soften. Remove.

Brown ribs in the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
Placed browned ribs in a baking dish with cooked onions.

Mix honey, soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, water, chili sauce
and garlic in a saucepan and heat until mixture is warmed
through. Pour over ribs and onions.

Roast at 325oF, covered, for 1 hour. Uncover and
baste every 30 minutes until meat falls off the bone, 2 to 2 1/2
hours.

Place ribs on the grill over medium-high heat. Cook until crisp
on the outside, about 10 minutes.
